Betsy is a Welsh songwriter who possesses absolute star quality. Signed to Warner, there is massive scope for her to be the next alt-pop diva with her strong image and euro-trashy tinged belters. New single ‘Lost and Found’ is superbly poppy, with a huge chorus and its uplifting accompanying strings. It’s not straight down the line though, as her curiously effected voice is utterly unique and makes her stand out as much as her peroxide locks. The video shows her as a femme-fatale, with dramatic outfits, deteriorating sets and badass antics. Like a modern Annie Lennox, she’s certainly got a powerful set of lungs and isn't afraid to use them. - SJ
